Back to School Charity Sale

This annual fundraising sale was much welcomed by the community. Items donated by church members were sold at low prices so that financially disadvantaged families could buy what they needed. The funds raised from charity sale also support the programs in the local community.

Opening Ceremony of Meeting Place of The Church of God in Fiji (Light and Love Home in Fiji)

After three years of applying and with the great support of the community, we have finally gained the government's approval to repair and rebuild the Church's meeting place, which is also the main venue for our charity programs. On the day of the opening ceremony, many commnity leaders and friends came to share our joy. Their appreciation and words of encouragement showed the value of our community services and moved our Church members and volunteers to march forward.

Career Talk at Ahmadiyya Muslim College

We were invited to give a workshop for Form 7 students on 'Job Searching Skills and Preparation for Interviews'. Our volunteers, Ian (professional engineer) and Darren (accounting graduate), gave a lively presentation on career planning, preparing a resume and application letter, and interview skills. They also gave valuable advice on the resumes prepared by students attending the workshop.
